Cross-country skiing

Leave hectic everyday life behind you on one of the wonderfully groomed cross-country ski routes. The 60 km network of cross-country ski trails can be accessed from right by the campsite. Located at the foot of the Tegelberg and with stunning views of Neuschwanstein Castle, the Neuschwanstein loop is one of the most beautiful floodlit cross-country ski trails in Bavaria and offers an unforgettable experience.
Up-to-date information about the snow conditions can be found on the Füssen website.

Tobogganing

Our very own tobogganing slope offers plenty of fun right by the campsite and is particularly ideal for families with children. Perhaps you could hike to one of the many lodges and enjoy the unique atmosphere of the Allgäu mountains before shooting down the slope on a toboggan to make your day truly unforgettable.

Snow shoe hikes

Information about snow shoe hikes can be found on the Füssen website.

Red deer feeding

Spotting the ‘king of the forest’ in his natural habitat is a memorable experience. An approx. 30 minute hike from the Karbrücke bridge in the district of Brunnen in Schwangau takes you to the observation point. The feeding session takes place daily at 3 p.m. from 25 December providing the ground is still covered by snow.
Further information can be found on the Schwangau website.
